Our Very Own Sovereign Wealth Fund Authority
The Power of the Collective: Building a Sovereign Wealth Fund Authority (SWFA) for Black Prosperity
Imagine the collective financial might of millions of people working in unity to build a better future. What if this collective could mimic the investment abilities of the world’s largest financial institutions and, in doing so, establish a structure that directly addresses the economic disparities that continue to affect the Black community? This is the vision behind our initiative to form a Sovereign Wealth Fund Authority (SWFA), which will serve as a financial powerhouse for the collective, benefiting Black individuals and families on a national scale.
The Path to the Sovereign Wealth Fund Authority
Our journey begins with acquiring 100 million shares of dividend-paying stocks. This is no small feat, but by coming together as a collective, we believe it is achievable. The process is simple yet powerful: each person who joins the initiative invites two others to do the same. We have created a system of QR-coded cards, which link to a form for new participants to join and contribute. These cards are more than just tools for growth; they add an element of transparency, excitement, and fun to the process. Each card belongs to one of five unique "fields"—Tigers, Eagles, Dandelions, Nubian Salem, and Mountain Top—creating friendly competition and a visual representation of our collective’s growth through comparative charts.
When participants share the cards, we encourage them to first introduce the initiative to a close family member or associate. This allows the original cardholder to hand the card to a second person who will continue to support the collective. Of course, the link to the form can also be shared digitally for wider reach.
As we grow and reach our goal of acquiring 100 million shares, we will be ready to launch the SWFA. This institution will oversee the allocation of funds for community-approved projects. Using fintech platforms, one million collective members will pre-approve projects and contribute a minimum of two dollars. These funds will be invested, and after six months, the dividends will be used to buy more dividend-paying stocks and fund the approved projects.
The Reparative Power of Collective Dividends
The beauty of this model lies in the way it transforms financial participation into empowerment. The dividends we earn from owning shares become a form of reparations—generated by the collective ownership of dividend-paying stocks in major corporations. For too long, the Black community has been left out of the wealth-building process. Now, we can reclaim our financial agency, leveraging the very systems that have historically excluded us to build prosperity from within.
Our approach honors the opportunity presented by collective financial action. Those who may not have extra funds to spare can still participate, knowing that the two dollars they contribute can be returned to them after six months. This minimizes the risk while maximizing the opportunity to play a part in something far bigger—an initiative that promises to uplift the Black community economically, just as buying lottery tickets raises funds for one winner, but with the difference that we all win.
SWFA: A Catalyst for Economic Justice
Once the SWFA is operational, it will become a driving force for economic justice and empowerment in the Black community. The dividends earned from our investments will be used to address some of the most pressing needs:
Relieving Black business owners of debt: Many Black-owned businesses face overwhelming financial pressures. The SWFA will pay off business debts, allowing entrepreneurs to focus on growing and innovating.
Paying off mortgages: Too many Black families lose homes after the passing of a family member because they cannot afford the mortgage. The SWFA will cover these mortgages, ensuring homes stay within families for generations.
Granting scholarships: Based on criteria like maintaining a C average, age, number of dependents, or low-wage employment, we will offer scholarships to help individuals pursue education and career advancement.
Funding rehabilitation programs: We recognize the importance of addressing health and recovery needs. The SWFA will fund a range of programs, from drug rehabilitation to physical therapy, ensuring access to care for all.
Providing in-home medical assistance: For those in need of medical support at home, the SWFA will cover the costs of hiring qualified medical personnel, improving quality of life for patients and families alike.
Neighborhood security and infrastructure: Security services, neighborhood improvements, and repairs of all types will be funded by the SWFA, ensuring safe and thriving communities.
By collectively owning and managing dividend-paying stocks, we will also be able to secure a steady flow of goods and services, which members of the Black community can access without additional costs. This will cover essential items and services, from healthcare to repairs, providing financial relief and security for all participants.
The Path to Abundance
Our Sovereign Wealth Fund Authority (SWFA) is not just about managing money—it's about creating abundance, prosperity, and empowerment for the Black community. By working together, each contribution becomes part of a larger force capable of reversing systemic economic challenges. Through collective ownership and strategic investment, we will create a future where the Black community thrives and grows, supported by a financial institution designed by and for us.
Join us in this bold and transformative initiative. Together, we can build a future of prosperity and equality, where financial security is not a dream but a reality for all.
